Default Locations of NPCs in Guild Halls

My guild would like to be getting a new Hall fairly soon, but we don't want to have to walk fifty feet just to get from the Xunlai chest to the Merchant.

We have been looking at the Isle of Meditation, Imperial Isle, Frozen Isle, and a few others.

Is there a map with the locations of the NPCs for each Guild Hall? (not the GvG NPCs)

If you want the NPCs to be as close together as possible, isle of the dead. I never saw of heard of a map of the NPC locations in guild halls. Hopefully, i'm simply not aware it exists.

I wouldn't pick frozen isle then. both imperial isle and meditation (Thats the shing jea one right?) Have the NPC's close together.

However meditation requires you to run up and down stairs to get from the merch to the chest.

The only guild hall maps ever made were for GvG use, so they don't show placements outside of combat.

All you can do is ask for invites to the various guildhalls so you can check them out yourself. My most often used gh NPCs are the merchant and the rune trader, and I have found Imperial Isle to be the best setup.

Isle of the Dead has all npc's conveniently close to your spawn point. It has the disadvantage that it is depressing, ugly and uninhabitable. No "home".

In my opinion, Warrior's Isle is a nice and convenient enough guild hall. You see the important NPCs from the spawn point without wildly looking up and down and turning around. Xunlai chest directly in front of the spawn point, merchant a click away.

I assume if the thread continues, every guild hall will be recommended by someone. So I recommend you ask ingame for guest invites for all the guild halls to look for yourself.

There is no need to get guest invites - one of the NPCs will take you to the various halls so you can see them. Let me check.....

OK - your Guild Leader needs to talk to the Canthan Ambassador - the same guy you buy the hall from. He will show him/her around the various halls (like a real estate agent). You can already have a Hall.
I know I did this before, but I don't remember if the Leader can take people with him or not (in a Party) - it doesn't hurt to try.

Yeah, but unless they've recently changed it, I'm 99% sure that these guild hall tours are empty -- no NPCs there to let you know where they would be standing.

I know this was a huge issue for me and my guild when we first set up. I keep meaning to ask people for guest invites so I can maybe set to work on maps, but I always seem to be busy doing other things, especially when I notice the guild spam in towns where people boast "full GH!"

Of course, the whole thing would be moot if they would implement assignable guild hall NPC hooks, so you could shuffle them around where you want them.

I had the same problem when choosing my GH. I've settled on the guild hall based on the Jade Sea, whichever that one is - you spawn right next to the chest, and the merch is a short alt-click-space run up the stairs with no NPCs to bodyblock you. The other NPCs are all grouped together up the other set of stairs. The AB/factions rewards guys are near the chest. It's a really convenient layout IMO.

EDIT: *Don't* choose the Kurzick Forest GH. You get bodyblocked by an NPC when you run from mats/rune trader to merchant - extremely annoying.

It is still that way. The guildhall tours by the Canthan Ambassador show you empty guildhalls. You won't know actual NPC locations until you own the hall.
